IMAGINE: A Campaign for Medical Imaging

Our team is dedicated to sharing the latest information with PAH staff. 

As of February 29, 2024

• The Foundation is currently working to complete the quiet phase of a multi-year fundraising campaign with the goal of $10 million for new medical imaging equipment.  We are currently 78% of the way towards our $10 million goal with $7.8 million raised to date! 
• The Peace Arch Hospital Gala, Kokomo (May 4), will raise funds towards the Medical Imaging Campaign.
• The Surrey and White Rock Fire Fighters Charitable Societies have agreed to match all donations from May 5-August 31, up to $500,000! This means that all donations made to this campaign throughout the summer will have DOUBLE THE IMPACT!

Looking for a way to make an impact? Join in our on Staff 50/50 Payroll Lottery: The Peace Arch Pot of Gold! All funds raised will help support our medical imaging campaign. Rally your colleagues and get them to join in online! A brand new lottery year will start in January 2024. 

Fundraising Status:

Peace Arch Hospital Foundation is currently in it’s “quiet phase” of fundraising. During this phase, we are seeking participation from all physicians and staff so that when we turn around and ask our donors for their help, we can let them know that all Peace Arch Hospital staff also support this campaign for improved medical imaging. 

We are still actively engaging prospective donors through tours of the Medical Imaging Department. Thank you to all staff who have helped conduct tours thus far! We have had several donors make gifts of appreciation in your honour, or as a result of the information shared on these tours. 

Design & Construction Update:

KDS Construction was selected to manage the construction and renovations required for this project. Upgrades to Mammography are now complete! X-ray applications is booked for April 29-May 3, and will begin being used in the unit on May 1. Fluoroscopy applications are booked for May 6-10, and will be available for use beginning May 8.
