Peace Arch Hospital Gala 2022 La Dolce Vita

WHITE ROCK, B.C. – After three years, the Peace Arch Hospital Gala was finally back with La Dolce Vita, Peace Arch Hospital Foundation’s love letter to Italy, on May 7, 2022. The sold-out fundraiser raised more than $900,000 to support cancer care at Peace Arch Hospital with the purchase of a new digital mammography unit.

Originally scheduled for 2020, the event, presented by Neil & Lisa Yarmoshuk, had been postponed twice due to the pandemic.

“We were very pleased to finally bring back this much-anticipated fundraiser for our hospital,” said Stephanie Beck, Peace Arch Hospital Foundation’s Executive Director. “It was an incredible night, both in terms of the funds raised and the opportunity to gather again with our donors and supporters.”

The Province Newspaper and Boulevard Magazine’s Fred Lee lent his talents as auctioneer, and entertainment included music performed by Sway, a tribute to Michael Bublé that featured songs sung both in English and Italian.

Guests had their outfits captured in illustration at the House of Gucci, tasted a variety of olive oils courtesy of South Surrey’s All of Oils, noshed on a 24-foot charcuterie board, and enjoyed fresh espresso and homemade gelato in the Cara Mia Caffè.
