In 2011, the Foundation and Fraser Health jointly funded a Master Concept Plan for Peace Arch Hospital, in recognition of the rapid growth of the White Rock/South Surrey area. The plan is based on future service demand projections and is meant to guide future facility investment decisions as well as provide a framework for ongoing facility planning. 

Some of these projects include the expansion of Peace Arch Hospital’s Emergency Department, the enhancement of Peace Arch Hospital’s kitchen and food services, the modernization of Peace Arch Hospital’s medical imaging equipment, and more! 

Each year, the Foundation invests $2+ million to ensure Peace Arch Hospital has the most up-to-date, modern, and vital pieces of equipment. Your gift towards new equipment ensures our physicians and medical staff can provide the best care possible for our patients. 

With a vision to make our community the healthiest possible, we invest in projects and programs that promote physical, social, and mental well-being. 

Under the leadership of our volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation has broadened its mandate to invest in vital health care projects that reach beyond the hospital campus. What started with a community grants and bursaries program in 1999 has now evolved into a full-fledged movement to make White Rock and South Surrey the healthiest community possible. 

Some of these projects include our Healthy Community Grants, Health and Wellness Calendar, Youth in Action program, and Move for Life.
