WR-SS Primary Care Network — Chronic Pain Series

This three-part series helps White Rock-South Surrey participants learn from health clinicians and peers managing chronic pain. 

Sessions run 90 minutes each, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., in-person or online:

1. Introduction to Chronic Non-Cancer Pain
2. Non-Opioid Medications
3. Opioid Medications

The series discusses non-medication treatments while also covering medication options, side effects, and opioid safety with a Neighbourhood Nurse and Pharmacist.

Session Format: 3-part in-person or virtual (Via Microsoft Teams) group series includes 90-minute sessions held once a week for 3 weeks. It is encouraged for participants to attend all 3 sessions. Space is limited to 10 participants.

Ages: 19+
