Join the 2021 Peace Arch Hospital Realtor Challenge and help raise $25,000!

Real estate agents are often the first point of contact for newcomers to the area. More than ever, we need to work together to provide access to quality health care close to home. Here’s a fun and easy way to show your support for Peace Arch Hospital and get involved in your local community. HOW YOU CAN HELP:  

  • Pledge to donate $250 or more per real estate deal for a minimum of two months. You can challenge your colleagues to see who can raise the most funds OR…
  • Make a one-time donation of $500 or more.

All donations will go towards funding a critically needed Ophthalmology Microscope helping every patient in our community who is struggling with poor vision. Your support is also good for business! Through this initiative, local real estate agents like you can gain more exposure and enhance your professional reputation by showing your support of your local hospital. Homeowners will feel a sense of pride and gratitude in knowing that the purchase of their home has supported healthcare in their community. 

You’ll also receive special recognition and a charitable tax receipt for your support! We’ll provide stickers to place on your signage and a digital badge for your website. This lets your clients know you’re supporting health care in your community! Ophthalmology Microscope 

  • a specialized piece of eye-care equipment that allows surgeons to see more for better decision-making during retina, cataract, glaucoma, and corneal surgeries
  • more than 350,000 cataract surgeries alone are performed each year in Canada and the number of surgeries is rising every year, with the average age of the surgery patient falling
  • current ophthalmology units are outdated and need regular repairs, incurring frequent downtime
  • a new microscope will reduce wait times and produce outstanding visualization of the eye for our medical teams
  • your contribution will improve accurate diagnosis, surgery, biopsy, and treatment results
  • a new ophthalmology microscope will result in many people being able to have critical procedures right here in White Rock, instead of being sent to other hospitals
