Volunteer Opportunities at The Peace Arch Hospital Foundation

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your local community and make a difference. It also provides you with an opportunity to develop new skills, build on existing experience, and make new friends.

We are always looking for passionate, caring and hardworking individuals to join our team. See below for our ever-changing list of opportunities, as well as some photos of volunteers at past events!

Volunteer Opportunities

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS:

The Foundation has front desk and office volunteer opportunities for individuals who are looking for consistent hands-on volunteer hours. These hours can include thank you calls to donors, administration, assisting with mail campaigns, event invitations, directing calls, and more!

EVENT VOLUNTEERS:

Creating exciting and engaging fundraising events is our specialty! Whether it’s the enchanting Peace Arch Hospital Gala, a fabulous summer picnic on White Rock’s waterfront, or a third party fundraiser, our events are a fun way to support Peace Arch Hospital. These events would not be possible without the help of our wonderful volunteers.

Peace Arch Hospital Gala: Volunteers are the very heart of this event and we couldn’t pull it off without them! If you are over the age of 19 and would like to help out, consider volunteering for one of the many positions. Positions range from venue set-up/tear-down, guest services, bar ticket sales, and live auction spotters.

THIRD PARTY FUNDRAISER VOLUNTEERS:

Picnic on the Pier: Landmark Premiere Properties and the Foster Martin development present a magical evening on the iconic White Rock Pier. This is the ultimate alfresco cocktail party featuring live music, a fabulous menu, refreshing libations, and a gorgeous view of the Pacific. If you are interested in volunteering at this event, positions range from set-up/tear-down and guest registration to raffle ticket and bar sales.
General Third-Party Events: Organizations or individuals in the community often come up with wonderful fundraising ideas to benefit Peace Arch Hospital. Often they need some extra help. Roles could be anything from handing out mini doughnuts, helping with a clothing sale, assisting with a car wash, accepting bottle donations, handing out Peace Arch Hospital materials at a Farmers Market, and much, much more!
