Option 1:
I’m honoured to share that I’ve joined Peace Arch Hospital + Community Health Foundation’s Fundraising Committee in support of their latest fundraising campaign, Every Second Counts. This $38M initiative will help build an integrated ICU and Cardiac Monitoring Unit at Peace Arch Hospital, ensuring our community has access to critical, life-saving care when it’s needed most. Grateful to work alongside a dedicated group of volunteers to support such an important cause. If you’re interested in learning more about the project or how to support this important work, I’d love to connect.

Option 2:
Excited to start volunteering as a committee member for Peace Arch Hospital + Community Health Foundation’s latest fundraising campaign, Every Second Counts. This project will transform Peace Arch Hospital’s entire 4th floor to build a state-of-the-art, integrated ICU and Cardiac Monitoring Unit. Strong local healthcare saves lives, and I’m proud to contribute to a project that will have a lasting impact on our community. Reach out if you’d like to learn more or be part of this important effort.

Campaign Updates

Currently, we have raised over $13 million in cash and pledges for this campaign. The 22-bed medical unit currently on the 4th floor will move to the 5th floor once construction is finished, which will be this unit’s permanent home. In June 2026, the ICU and Telemetry patients will move to the 6th floor to begin construction on the entire 4th floor. Construction is tentatively scheduled to finish in late 2027.

of $35M goal reached.

Campaign Overview

Peace Arch Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Cardiac Monitoring area are undersized, outdated, and in need of infrastructure upgrades. That’s why we are embarking on our largest-ever capital fundraising project of $35 million to transform PAH’s entire 4th floor into a single streamlined ICU and Cardiac Monitoring Unit.

This crucial project involves relocating a medical unit within the hospital, and consolidation of the remaining ICU and Cardiac Monitoring Unit into a single, expansive facility covering over 1,000 square metres. To learn more about this campaign, visit our Every Second Counts Campaign webpage

This transformation is not just an upgrade; it is a vital investment in the health and safety of our community, ensuring that our hospital can meet the needs of our patients now and in the future. This integrated unit will:

  • Expand capacity and innovation to provide a larger, more adaptable space that can accommodate modern medical technology and innovative care practices
  • Include windows in every patient room to provide natural light, which has been shown to improve patient well-being and promote faster recovery
  • Support PAH staff recruitment and retention by providing a more efficient and safe workspace
  • Feature private spaces and ensuite washrooms to support families and enhance patient comfort and dignity
  • Incorporate contemporary infection control standards, such as dedicated negative pressure rooms, to protect vulnerable patients and staff
  • Optimize patient flow and clinical operations to ensure the long-term viability of the unit, aligning with community health priorities and environmental standards
If you have an illness, time is life. Every moment matters to save your life, and this is your closest hospital and ICU.
