Rapid Response Grant

**Please note that the last day to apply for a Rapid Response Grant is December 31, 2020.**

The Rapid Response Grant (RRG) program has been created to respond to the ever-changing needs of the White Rock-South Surrey community during times of uncertainty or crisis, providing quick financial assistance to those working diligently to aid our community.

This grant is available to support local non-profit organizations, Peace Arch Hospital staff, and Fraser Health employees working in the White Rock-South Surrey (WR/SS) area and provides urgently needed funding to support programs, services, and activities to assist in alleviating effects of events causing large scale community impact, natural disasters, and pandemics such as COVID-19.

**IMPORTANT: Successful applicants will have demonstrated their ability to pivot or restructure their operations and/or programs in light of the pandemic. They will show how their staff or volunteers have implemented new systems, improved/changed delivery models, or implemented new programs to support their clients or the WR/SS community as a whole during this time. Funding is available for additional IT support, operational support, and start-up costs. Applications must continue to align with the vision and mission of PAH Foundation.

Funding is NOT available to supplement payroll, marketing, advertising, operating costs or confirmed government emergency funding. Applicants MUST be working with a non-profit or charitable organization. Funding is also not available to mitigate lost revenue or decreased fundraising revenue.

Applications are accepted until December 31, 2021.

  • Project supports members of the WR/SS community

*Funding is NOT available to supplement marketing or advertising costs, existing payroll or layoffs, current (before crisis) operating costs, or confirmed government emergency funding.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

  • Can I apply for a RRG if I currently have an open grant with the Foundation?
  • Will we be required to submit a report after we receive the funding?
    Due to the demands of the current situation, grant recipients will not be required to submit a report upon completion of the project.

Review Process
Applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Applicants will receive notification of funding decisions by email. Funding decisions are at the complete discretion of Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. Applicants agree and accept that all decisions made by Peace Arch Hospital Foundation are final.
