TB Vets, a charitable organization dedicated to helping British Columbians with respiratory illness lead healthy and productive lives for 75 years, has made a two-year pledge of $73,000 to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation for the purchase of a life-saving Hamilton-G5 ventilator.

“Providing the best care for our patients means having the right equipment,” said Trevor Whyte, Registered Respiratory Therapist. “This Hamilton-G5 ventilator is designed for the most complex, critically ill patients in ICU settings where lung protection is of paramount importance.”

“We are so grateful for the support of TB Vets,” said Stephanie Beck, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “The respiratory equipment they fund has been invaluable to Peace Arch Hospital.”

“Providing the best quality health care requires a multitude of partnerships,” said Kandys Merola, TB Vets’ Executive Director. “TB Vets values our partnership with Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. We are committed to respiratory wellness and are thrilled this vital life-saving ventilator will enhance patient care.”

Since 1989, TB Vets has donated more than $250,000 to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation for the purchase of respiratory equipment. This year, their gift of $36,500 will go towards their two-year pledge.
